Our Statment of Faith
We Believe in and Teach the Following
The Bible, Old and New Testaments, which is verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit and inerrant in the original manuscripts, is the infallible and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Matthew 5:18).

The Triune Godhead in three persons– Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 13:14).
The Personality of Satan, called the Devil and his present control over unregenerate man- kind (2 Corinthians 4:3-4).

The fall and lost estate of man, whose depravity makes necessary the new birth (Genesis 3:11-17; Romans 3:22-23, 5:12; Ephesians 2:1-3, 12).

The Deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, death, bodily resurrection, present exaltation at God’s right hand, and personal and imminent return (John 1:1-2, 12, 14; Luke 1:35; Romans 3:24-25; 1 Peter 2:24; Hebrews 1:1-3).

Salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins (Ephesians 1:7, 2:8-10; John 1:12; 1 Peter 1:18-19; 2 Corinthians 5:21).

The resurrection of the Saved unto everlasting life and blessing in Heaven, and the resurrection of the Unsaved unto everlasting punishment in Hell (Daniel 12:2; John 5:28-29; 1 Corinthians 15:52-53).
Regeneration is a supernatural act accomplished by the will of the Holy Spirit that imparts divine nature and life, transforming the believer and bringing spiritual renewal and new life (Titus 3:3-6; Eph 2:4-6; Ezek. 36:26; 2 Corinthians 5:17).
It occurs instantaneously at the moment of salvation and belief in Christ, by the Holy Spirit’s power, through the Word of God (Eph 1:19; 1 Peter 1:23).
Regeneration involves being born again, where the believer moves from spiritual death to life, receiving the capacity to live according to God’s will (Ezek. 36:27; John 3:5-6; Ephesians 2:5; Romans 6:4).Genuine regeneration is evidenced by an ongoing process of the Spirit’s sanctifying work in a believer’s life. This sanctifying work is expressed primarily in a believer’s interactions with other people; interactions through which there are desires and displays of brotherly love, service, repentance of sin, faith, and righteous living; whereby one’s desires and actions begin to reflect the nature of Christ. (John 15:16-17; John 13:34-35; Eph 2:10; 1 John 3:9; Rom 6; Col. 3:7-14; 1 John 2:29; Galatians 5:16-24).This new inherent desire for righteousness is not something that a natural person can produce on their own, but is a supernatural gift and a definitive mark of a person who has been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. (Phil. 2:13; 1 John 3:9-10)

The Church, the Body or Bride of Christ, consisting of those who are Born Again, having received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, for whom He now makes intercession in Heaven and for whom He shall come again (1 Corinthians 12:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; John 14:1-4; Hebrews 6:18-20).
Christ’s commission to the Church to go into all the World and preach the gospel to every creature (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8).

The Spirit-filled life is based upon a walk of obedience to the Word and Will of God. The fruit of the Spirit within life is evidence of Spiritual Maturity. We do not adhere to nor believe that the Sign Gifts are for the Church today. We reject the teaching that Tongues are proof of Spirituality; however, we believe that the Lord is able to heal and do miracles (Ephesians 5:18-21; Galatians 5:22-24; James 5:14-15).

We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary sexes together reflect the image and nature of God (Gen. 1:26-27). Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.

We believe that marriage is the original and foundational God-ordained institution of human society. In marriage, one man and one woman unite in a covenant of promise before God and witnesses to form an exclusive union, as delineated in God’s Word, the Bible (Genesis 2:18–25). The marriage partners leave their own families and are no longer considered two, but “one flesh” (Matthew 19:4–6; Ephesians 5:31). Marriage is God’s example and picture of the relationship between Christ (the Bridegroom) and His Church (the Bride), made up of all who receive and trust in His Son Jesus alone for salvation (Ephesians 5:30–32). Marriage between a man and a woman is God’s natural and righteous provision to bring children into the world (Genesis 1:27–28).

We hold the belief that, in light of the Scriptures listed below, homosexuality, lesbianism, and ideals associated with LGBTQ+ identities are sinful in God’s sight and considered willful choices rather than acceptable or inherent lifestyles. Furthermore, polygamy and all non-heterosexual or extramarital sexual relationships are also viewed as sinful.
Because of this belief, Shiloh Bible Conference/Camp does not permit volunteers, staff, or employees who engage in these practices or who are living in a non‑marital cohabitation arrangement. (Genesis 1:27; Genesis 19:5–13; Leviticus 18:22; 1 Kings 14:24; Romans 1:26–28; 1 Corinthians 6:9; 1 Timothy 1:10; Jude 7)
