Meet the Advisors

Kylie and Julie McClanahan

Timothy Coordinators

Julie and Kylie McClanahan are a mother-daughter team serving as the current Timothy coordinators.

Julie has been involved with Shiloh since she was 8 years old. She has served Shiloh as a part of crew (the earilest form of Timothys), a summer missionary, and now lives in Donnelly full time with her family to work as a missionary at Shiloh Bible Camp. Kylie has been going to camp for the last 10 years and is coming into her sixth year as Shiloh staff. She has served as a Timothy, summer missionary, and helped run the timothy program last summer. She is currently working towards a Certificate of the Bible through Ecola Bible College.

They are both very excited to see what this new year of the Timothy program will bring and love to watch middle school and high school kids become influential leaders for, and disciples of, Jesus through this program.

Carol Hazen and the Garden Valley Team

Garden Valley, ID

Carol Hazen leads the Garden Valley Timothy Advisor Team. Shiloh Bible Camp holds a sacred place in her heart. Carol grew up attending a different camp in a different state from the
ages of 7-14. She then became a Jr. Counselor (some similarities to being a TIM) for that camp’s summer
Day Camp Program and served every summer through High School.
Fast forward MANY years…. An opportunity arose where Shiloh needed some volunteers, and without
hesitation Carol jumped into the water with both feet. After a couple of years of serving at camp as a Cabin
Leader and seeing the impact of this , then- newly re- formed Timothy Program based on the young people
serving, She jumped right back into the water, again, with both feet.
Carol's heart’s desire is to encourage each youth she connects with in their relationship journey with Christ and to walk alongside of them through their ups and downs of growing up while always pointing them to Jesus as our North Star. Carol considers it a privilege and honor to be a small part of each of these Kiddos journey.
When she is not “Tim-a-fying” you can find her hiking with her dog, Maybelline; creating a contemporary -
abstract art quilt, or enjoying time with my husband of 30+ years in beautiful Garden Valley Idaho.

Aaron and Julie Carroll

Valley County, ID

Aaron and Julie Carroll have 4 children, 3 girls & 1 boy. The Carroll family loves everything outdoors, skiing, hiking, boating, etc! Julie has served as Camp Nurse at Shiloh a couple times over the years and Aaron has been able to attend Shiloh's Timothy kickoff events and has served as night watch many times over the last couple of summers.  They love camp just as much as our kids do! They just wrapped up their third year as Timothy Advisor’s for the Boise group, and have recently moved to Donnelly and will run the Valley County group.

Our kids have been attending Shiloh for 10 years and our older girls have been involved in the Timothy program for 6 years. We have seen our daughters grow exponentially in their spiritual walk & leadership abilities during their years of attending Shiloh and the Timothy program. We love watching all the youth in our group set and attain goals and are inspired by their desire to be in the word, regularly attending church and praying for others. Our twins are going into their second year of the Timothy program next year and have enjoyed their opportunity to serve at camp as well and being able to attend our Timothy group!

Mike and Emily Crase

Out of area

Mike and Emily Crase lead the out of area timothy group. Mike Crase was born and raised in Southern California.  Between the ages of 12 and 18, he had the privilege of attending several summer and spring camps, which deepened his passion for Christ and his love for camping ministry.

In 2017, the Crases returned to the U.S., from China, where they landed in Boise and have wholeheartedly jumped into supporting the ministry and growth of Shiloh Bible Conference.  Mike brings to Shiloh a wide range of skills associated with efficiently running schools and Christian programs.  In addition to what Mike can offer Shiloh, his wife Emily has a passion for serving and currently homeschools their children.
