Shiloh Bible Conference September 2018 Update

Friends of Shiloh,

We are excited to share with you some of the things the Lord has been accomplishing here at

Shiloh. We know that we can do nothing without Christ, but through Him, all things are possible. Since September 2017, the Lord has brought two new families to work with and grow the ministry here at Shiloh. We have a new Executive Director and Office Manager, both of whom have a passion to see Shiloh grow and reach more children and families for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In addition to these new families joining the Shiloh community, we had a very successful 2018 camping season (with a couple more upcoming camps). In 2018, we have provided Christian camping experiences to 406 campers, of which 265 campers have expressed or shared about spiritual decisions (1st time commitments & recommitments) they have made during their time here at Shiloh. PRAISE GOD!!

In addition to camps and new staff we have also undertaken several projects, which will be used to reach more children and families for Christ. On April 28th, Shiloh broke ground on our new multipurpose center. The center will be a 100’ x 60’ fully enclosed, heated building, capable of serving the Shiloh community as well as the Donnelly, McCall and Cascade communities year round. As Shiloh staff, we recognize that this facility isn’t our facility,

but rather our Lord’s facility; therefore, we are seeking to utilize the grounds through our current summer programs, and additional year round programs. As of August 15, 2018, God has provided over $170,000 towards the total cost of this project via individual donations and grants. In additional to these funds raised, we have also received material donations in excess of $20,000.

We are constantly amazed at God’s glory as He provides for His children and the ministries here at Shiloh. Will you partner with us, both prayerfully and financially, and ask God if He would have you support the ministry here at Shiloh? We are still in need of just over $90,000 to complete the project. We would love to see this project fully completed before Winter 2018 so that we can utilize this building this year. If all of our partners gave just $100 towards this building, we would meet our financial goal in its entirety. Will you be part of God’s provision?

A second project that Shiloh has undertaken is the purchase/lease of a new staff dormitory. As many of you are aware, Shiloh has been praying over an adjacent property for twenty plus years. Until recently, this property was not up for sale; however, through God’s perfect timing, He has allowed Shiloh to begin using this property through a lease to own agreement with no annual interest. The cost of this building is $25,000 per year for ten years. We will also be looking at approximately $150,000 for the remodel of the building once the building has been paid in full. We would love to use this building for summer staff lodging and a retreat/dormitory center during the fall, winter and spring seasons. Please be in prayer for the Shiloh Board of Directors and they seek to best utilize this new property to further God’s kingdom.

Please pray for our Board of Directors. God has blessed Shiloh Bible Conference with six very talented men who bring a wide range of skills and abilities to Shiloh. With all of the changes, upgrades and additions being made at Shiloh, it’s important that these men have the prayer and support of the Shiloh community. These men have several very important and large decisions ahead of them and we ask and trust that God will give wisdom as these decisions need to be made.

Lastly, we ask that you lift us up in prayer as we attempt to acquire an additional 88 acres on the northern border of Shiloh. Shiloh was recently approached with the possibility of acquiring this land as a donation from a friend of Shiloh. Should we acquire this land, we are hoping to bring back the horse program, add a full sized paintball course, and add some additional recreational activities to Shiloh. Please pray for us as we begin this new undertaking as well.

Along with financial support, we are always looking for camp volunteers, cabin leaders, labor support, and material donations. If you feel led to support in any of these ways, please complete the attached cut off form and mail it to Shiloh, or contact us via telephone at 208.325.8239. Thank you for your continued prayers and support! To God be the glory!

In Christ,

Shiloh Executive Team
